The Road to nowhere

A gentle breeze across my face
A flash away from the maddening race
A path that few knew
with memories wrapped many I knew

The pitch darkness
remembered with a fondness
into imagination I drift,
till the bend there made me shift,

As I slowed,
I saw other wanderers on the road

As you set on this road
no one knows
whether u'll see the end
or a sweet turn will push u back to reality.

Life is just like this road
Occasional meanders and crossings to show you
you are not on a lonely road
more wanderers are with you in the journey.
